Cleanse & moisturize

Start with clean, hydrated skin. This is where streak free coverage really begins.

Let it absorb

Give moisturizer two to three minutes to sink in before applying foundation.

Primer or SPF first

Let it fully set before foundation. Layering onto wet product causes patchiness.

Most patchy foundation complaints trace back to skin prep, not the tool.

How to clean it

Rinse bristles under lukewarm water, bristles pointing down so water never reaches the handle.

Work a gentle brush cleanser or mild soap into the bristles, massaging in your palm.

Rinse until the water runs completely clear.

Reshape and lay flat to dry. Never stand it upright while wet.

Can I use this with powder foundation?

Yes, press the brush into the product and blend in circular motions. The dense bristles work equally well with pressed or loose powder formulas.

Can I use this with liquid foundation?

Yes, stipple a small amount on, then buff in small circles. Liquid is actually the formula this brush was originally designed around.

How often should I clean it?

Once a week with regular use (every five to seven applications). Cleaning more often is fine; going longer lets product buildup cause the patchiness you're trying to avoid.
